Zoundry Offers New Way to Share Holiday Gift Suggestions

New browser toolbar enables friends and family to share gift ideas and earn cash rewards.

BRANFORD, CT - November 2, 2005 - This holiday season, online shoppers have a new way to find unique gift items while helping friends and family earn extra cash. Zoundry, the leading affiliate service for bloggers, has just released a free browser toolbar that enables people to share gift recommendations using weblogs, wishlists, and email. When shoppers click through and buy gifts, recommenders earn referral fees for themselves or charities.

"We are pleased to offer a simple solution to an age-old holiday dilemma - what should I buy someone?" said Lawrence C. Lee, President, Zoundry LLC. "We enable friends and family to help each other find interesting gift ideas, and they are rewarded for their recommendations."

Zoundry's browser toolbar is specifically designed for online shoppers. As they are shopping at Zoundry's merchants, they can click a button to email a product page link to a friend or save it to an online bookmarking site like Yahoo! My Web 2.0 or del.icio.us. Zoundry automatically converts the page link into an affiliate link, enabling the recommender to earn referral fees when people purchase through the link.

The toolbar makes use of Web 2.0 social bookmarking sites as simple publishing systems. By adding brief commentary and tags to saved products, Zoundry users can create personalized mini-catalogs for friends and family. See a sample catalog at http://del.icio.us/giftideas.

The Zoundry Toolbar works on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. A Zoundry Service account is required to earn referral fees and is currently available to U.S. residents only. The toolbar complements Zoundry's Blog Writer™ software released earlier this year. Both the Zoundry Toolbar and Blog Writer are available as free downloads from http://www.zoundry.com.

Zoundry Expands Service for Bloggers to Earn Cash Rewards

Web service offers simple way for people to make money from weblogs

BRANFORD, CT - May 23, 2005 - Many bloggers are using Google ads and PayPal donation buttons. Now there is another way for people to earn money from their weblogs.

Zoundry LLC announced the expansion of its beta service for bloggers to earn money for themselves or charity using affiliate links. Bloggers place these special links within product recommendations and earn cash rewards by referring visitors to online retailers.

Zoundry released new versions of its Zoundry Blog Writer™, the first weblog posting editor designed for writing product reviews. New features simplify the placement of affiliate links, images, and Technorati tags without needing to work with HTML source code. This allows non-technical writers who were previously intimidated by the complexities of HTML to take part in the affiliate marketing economy.

"I'm fairly technical, but I was confused when I first tried to copy and paste an affiliate link into the HTML of my blog," said Lawrence C. Lee, President of Zoundry LLC. "It was clear that bloggers needed an easier point-and-click solution."

For example, a blogger can write a review about a new MP3 player using the Zoundry Blog Writer. With a few simple clicks, he can place an affiliate link in the player's name, add a tag of "MP3 player," and post to his weblog. The blogger earns a commission through the Zoundry Service whenever someone reads the review at his weblog, at Technorati, or via an RSS feed, and clicks through to purchase the player.

"Bloggers now have another option besides advertising to earn money to pay for their hosting costs or support a charity," said Lee. "We want to encourage people of all technical abilities to write about interesting products, and allow their friends and family to reward them by purchasing through their weblog."

The Zoundry Blog Writer works on Windows 2000 or XP and is available as a free download from www.zoundry.com. The Zoundry Service is free to join upon invitation during the beta period.

Zoundry will also donate its fee so 100% of directed commissions will go to this important relief effort.

Zoundry Releases Software that Helps Bloggers Make Money

New Software and Service Simplifies Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers and Small Web Publishers

BRANFORD, CT - Dec. 24, 2004 - Zoundry LLC released today its beta software and service that will greatly simplify affiliate marketing for non-technical weblog writers ("bloggers") and web publishers. Now millions of people who have been previously intimidated by the complexities of affiliate links can easily participate in this robust billion-dollar economy.

Zoundry's first product, the Zoundry Blog Writer™ (beta version available as a free download) is a rich blogging editor that combines the best of a word processor, desktop publisher, and product search engine. Zoundry's unique Product Placement Engine™ (patent-pending) helps people find products and place specially formatted affiliate links within product recommendations in their blogs.

For example, a writer can write a book review for friends and family using the Zoundry Blog Writer. Then with just a few clicks, he or she can find the book using the Blog Writer's built-in search engine and embed an affiliate text link within the book title in the review. When readers click through the link and purchase the book, the writer gets a commission on the sale.

"We are extremely excited by our opportunity to bridge three of the most important trends in media today - blogging, social networking, and online shopping," said Lawrence C. Lee, President of Zoundry LLC. "Our easy-to-use software hides the complexities of affiliate marketing so people of all technical abilities can share product recommendations online and earn affiliate commissions."
