The Zoundry Story
Zoundry LLC was founded by three friends who previously worked together at a search software startup in New Haven, CT. We saw that people often recommend stuff to their friends and family, like books, CDs, MP3 players, and baby gear, but very few know how to earn commissions on their referrals using affiliate marketing. The problem is that most people just aren't comfortable placing and editing affiliate links in HTML.
So we started Zoundry with the idea that anyone, regardless of HTML skills, should be able to share his or her product knowledge online and earn rewards from referred purchases. Our goal is to create easy-to-use software that hides the complexities of affiliate marketing, so writers can focus on writing instead of worrying about technology.
Working nights and weekends and finding consulting gigs where we could, we got Zoundry off the ground with our initial beta in December 2004. Now anyone can easily write product and gift suggestions in a blog, search and place affiliate links with the Zoundry Product Placement Engine™ (patent-pending), and earn cash rewards when readers click through and purchase. You can keep your rewards or choose a charity from our Charity List to receive them.
We're a small company with a big mission - to bring affiliate marketing to the masses. Currently we are running an invite-only beta program for U.S. residents only. If you're interested in participating and helping us to improve our software and service, please click here and we'll try to get you an invitation. Otherwise, you can still download our beta Zoundry Blog Writer™ and use it to write your posts and place affiliate links, but you won't be able to earn any rewards.
